First edition, stated, gutter code of D12 (i.e. April., 1962), of this 5th title in the Mike Mars space adventure series, featuring along with Mike Mars, Johnny Bluehawk in his space capsule. Orbaan (1913-1983) had just a few years earlier created the cover art for Wollheim’s fellow Futurian, Isaac Asimov’s “Lucky Starr” series under his Paul French pseudonym 1956-1958.
