This is a nine-volume set of the Lorrequer Edition, First Edition Thus, with the original illustrations by Phiz. Introduction by Andrew Lang. Uniform olive green binding with gilt lettering, gilt topedge, and a deckled foredge. The titles included are (I) Harry Lorrequer (II) Knight of Gwynne (III) The O Donoghue and St. Patrick s Eve (IV) Arthur O Leary (V) Martins of Cro Martin and Paul Gosslett s Confessions (VI) Tom Burke of Ours (VII) Barrington and Tales of the Trains (VIII) Sir Brook Fossbrooke and (XI) Lord Kilgobbin. All are in Near Fine condition, with very minor issues of rubbing, or bumping, with the exception of Volume Three, where the rear gutter is loose but holding.
