Greenwich, 1941. First. paperback. very good(+). A short story and an essay IN: The Green Witch. 71 pages, pictorial wrappers. Greenwich, Conn., May, 1941. These pieces in the Greenwich High School Literary Magazine were written by Capote when he was a sophomore, and are probably his earliest published works. "Hilda" (2 1/2pp.), was the First Prize Story, and "Lucy" (2pp.) the Honorable Mention Essay. The magazine is loose in it's stapled binding, and a small piece (1 x 3 inches) has been torn from the final page by the original owner who removed her own photograph, but it is otherwise in very good condition
