Dickson and Poul Anderson's "Hoka" comedy science fiction stories, first compiled in the 1957 collection "Earthman's Burden," about a race of aliens who resemble teddy bears. Robert Bloch is best known for penning Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" (1959), although his six-decade writing career encompassed novels, short stories, radio, cinema, and television. A protégé of H.P. Lovecraft, Bloch received the Hugo Award, the Bram Stoker Award, and the World Fantasy Award, and served as the president of the Mystery Writers of America in 1970.
