T. N. ). Title, author, "Neely's Prismatic Library", and publisher lettered upon spine in brown. Lovely illustration of a solitary butterfly upon rear board. Top edge of textblock gilt, fore-edge deckled. Sextodecimo (6 3/8 x 4 inches; 162 x 101 millimeters). 316 pages. Condition: Very Good+. Cloth has darkened upon the spine and around the edges, small stains. Lightly rubbed at the edges and corners, which have curved under, and at the crown & foot. Prior owner's autograph upon title page and early verse page. Vintage bookshop label at bottom of rear paste-down. The transparent protective page between the frontispiece photograph and the title page has come partially loose. Over-opened at pages 142-143. Endpapers and pages age-toned, small stains.
