Some staining on the staples, remnants of an unprinted wraparound band affixed inside rear wrap, a near very good copy. Pseudonymous poetry pamphlet written John Charles Edward Bowen, a British soldier and published in September of 1941. The pamphlet is dedicated to Winston Churchill, and some of the poems had appeared in *The Civil & Military Gazette.* OCLC* locates a single copy (at Oberlin); we also found a single online for sale listing for a 1942 second edition.
