Frontispiece portraits of Collier in both volumes. Ex-library with labels affixed to lower corner of front pastedown endpapers. Unmatched leather bindings show wear with tears, scuffing, bumped corners, edges, and extremes. Back board nearly detached from volume one except for a single holding cord. Most pages clean with some occasional dampstains, foxing and thumbing. While the leather does not match, both books are the same edition and printed in the same year. Sold "as-is."
