The rear flap of this book quotes Dickens' earlier review of *Words for a Deaf Daughter* for *The Boston Globe*. Laid in is a photocopy of a letter from West to Dickens, asking her to review this book, as apparently *The Globe* had not received their review copy. An excellent association.
