Green cloth over boards with gilt decorations and gilt titling in black compartments to spine, and author's signature in gilt to front board. Soiling to fore edge of pages 168 and 169 and tanning to margins; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Light scuffing to top edge of rear endpapers. Text block is sunned with heavy sunning to top edge, and light scuffing to lower edge and top edge. Boards have moderate sunning to edges, eavy sunning to spine, dampstain to top edge of front board and moderate bumping and light rubbing to corners and ends of spine; splitting to cloth at rear lower corner. Binding is sound, rear inner hinge cracked but still holds, and boards are slightly bowed. No DJ.
