This copy, being from the private collection of the author is signed, though lettered PC (Publisher’s Presentation Copy), as it was one of the few author copies given to Mr. Miéville upon publication. Blue leather solander box, light wear around spine, superficial scratch on rear, marbled interiors, hand-painted (possibly with gold leaf); blue leather boards, gilt titling bright, corners sharp; binding is square, secure and sturdy; pages are clean, marbled endpapers, colour illustrations by Edward Miller.
