The print originates from the 2nd volume of the 3-volume set One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji , originally published 1834-1835 and considered to be among the artist's greatest achievements. The image depicts the oarsmen of an 'oshiokuri-bune' row boat on a turbulent sea. As implied by the title of the print, the faint distorted reflection of Mt.
