This invitation card was sent to Takahashi Genjirō, a member of the House of Peers, by Ichiki Kitokurō, Minister of the Imperial Household, to notify him of the Special Imperial Fleet Review held off Yokohama on 4 December 1928. The review formed part of the celebrations marking the enthronement of the Shōwa Emperor
