Edgecumbe's Birthday This observation seems doubtful, as the birthday of Thomas Pitt, 1st Baron Camelford was 3 March 1737 d. 1793 and the birthday of George Edgeumbe, 1st Earl of Mount Edgcumbe was 3 March 1720 d. 1795 , but the poem itself is not without charm.
