First edition of author's first book. 350pp. 8vo. Black cloth stamped in green. Spine is slightly askew, else a near fine, bright copy in very good, mended dust jacket. The jacket has light tanning on spine with small chip at crown , rear panel has split near spine with long, uneven tear; archivally mended on verso with Japanese tissue , verso of jacket has faint brown tape residue from early mend , else quite fresh and bright.
