First edition, 8vo, pp. xviii, 219; portrait and engraved Farnsworth bookplate; green cloth with gilt device on front cover and gilt title on spine; light wear to boards, endpapers stained, else very good. His letters follow him from the American West, to Mexico, to Russia, and eventually into the legion at the onset of the war, in which he perished in 1915. Item #46891
