A PASSAGE TO INDIA. First edition, Canadian issue, bound up from the British sheets with a cancel title, in a binding equivalent to the London binding, but with a Longmans spine imprint. The Arnold London adverts remain intact at the end. Scarce - unrecorded by Kirkpatrick, who is normally scrupulously attentive to such bibliographic subtleties. We've had only one other copy of this Canadian issue, and as (only) an interesting relative measure, OCLC reports six copies with this imprint, as against over 120 copies with the Arnold imprint.
