Paris: Librairie de Poussielgue-Rusand, 1848. 12mo, pp. 2 , ii, 7 -408; lithograph title page and frontispiece, plus 12 lithograph plates; a rough but complete copy, an Ayer Linguistic duplicate with cracked hinges cords holding, but barely , spine perished and small discreet Newberry rubberstamps in the margins of each plate; light spotting, edges rubbed and worn, contemporary full calf, some peeling; a fair copy at best, but with compelling illustrations.
