Second edition, 8vo, pp. xxxiv, 1 , 311, 1 ; gilt decorated burgundy cloth, partially unopened; owner's stamp of Dasarathi Sanyal on half- and title page, spine and corners rubbed, endpapers refreshed, spot of worming at margins, light pencil underlining, good and sound. Sangermano traveled to Burma in 1783 and stayed until 1806. His Description of the Burmese Empire was published posthumously in 1833.
