Brussels: Wouters, Raspoet et co., 1843. 2 vols. in 1, 8vo, pp. 278; 284; folding map; marbled boards backed in calf; joints starting, corners bumped, text foxed, mostly on edges and first few leaves, good. The author was a French natural scientist and traveller, and died of cholera at Bombay. He travelled extensively in the Himalayan region, and crossed twice into Tibet in Aug. 1830.
