Star Trek Federation: The First 150 Years , by David A. Goodman (2013, Hardcover). Opened, but never used. The pedestal has the original batteries & cutoff strip. I checked the battery case without pulling out the strip, and there's been no battery leakage that I could see. I doubt they're still good though. As such, I haven't tested the electronics, but there's no reason it shouldn't work.
