The map includes beautiful illustrations of wildlife, including elephants and monkeys, four ships and a giant Sea Turtle. The title cartouche is engraved with images two figures with monkeys and turtles. Double-page copper engraved map, with fine later hand-colouring, centre fold as issued, cartouches for the title and scale, Dutch text on verso; sheet size: 49 x 56 cm. Some discolouration to fold and a couple of closed tears.
