scarce emergency reprint Scarce Emergency Reprint. This is good example of the very rare emergency reprint of 'Norwegen'. It includes pages 1-44 and 201-524 from the German edition of "Schweden, Norwegen.." published in 1914 (Hinrichsen D453). This copy also contains a vocabulary containing Danish, Norwegian and Swedish grammar. It only covers Norway and Denmark and was issued as a companion for the "Sweden and Finland" published for the first time in 1929. Both these editions were soon out of print and few copies survive. The German authorities reportedly searched for copies at the outbreak of WW11. Scarce. Issued c.1928. Thirteenth edition. "Unveränderten Abdruck". pp. I-lvii, 1-44, 201-524pp, publisher's slip tipped in before general map at front, 40 vocabulary at rear, 49 maps, 19 plans, 3 small panoramas, slightly rusty staples, one map slightly frayed; publisher's red cloth gilt; a very good copy.
