Quarto (350 x 370 mm), gilt-lettered wrappers, pp. [24], essays by Jenny Zimmer and Tate Adams, biography, accompanied by five large wood engravings of tropical palm trees, each print signed by the artist and editioned 12/15, the booklet not numbered, housed in a gilt-lettered clamshell case. Tate Adams was born in Ireland in 1928 and studied at the Central School of Arts in London. He moved to Australia in 1951 and had a long career as a successful painter, printmaker, gallery owner, lecturer, maker of artist s books and collaborator.
