Wien : Victor Angerer, [1903]. Silver albumen print photograph in cabinet card format, 163 x 103 mm; signed by the sitter in ink in the image lower right: Gisi Timony ; verso with the Angerer studio imprint and with a presentation inscription by Timony: Meinen lieben Collegen Herrn Emil Norini, zur freundlichen Errinerung, Wien 5. IV. 1903 ( To my dear colleague Mr. Emil Norini, as a friendly memento. Vienna, 5 April 1903 ); the print has a couple of tiny surface scratches, but is otherwise faultless; the verso has an old paper adhesion at one edge, not affecting the inscription. Gisela Timony was an Austrian stage actress of the Belle Epoque period, noted for her role in the popular play Zeichen des Kreuzes .
