David Copperfield by Charles Dickens Victorian Edition Deluxe Antique Book Part of a Number 720/1000 Limited Edition Victorian Edition Deluxe 20 book set. With Illustrations by "pbiz" H. K. Browne. John D. Morris and Company, Philadelphia. Outer cover is marbled paper over cardboard, with leather spine and corners. The Spine Material became brittle, and chunks have disappeared, revealing the newsprint underneath, that was used to bind the book originally - "..ders of America" headline on that...that might help date it better. Rough condition on the outside - spine is missing parts, corners show quite a bit of wear. Inside cover still original, not too bad condition. Inside illustrations still have their cover papers. Top of page edges are gold. Front and bottom are deckled. Binding is still decent, but it wouldn't hurt to redo it. Some foxing, stains, etc. due to the age of the book.
