NOTE: I-B is the code Harpers publishing used to designate the month and printing year of this copy. In this case "I" = September and B = 1952. Illustrated dust jacket with Fern holding Wilbur and gazing at Charlotte the Spider. $2.50 cover price on front flap. Tan boards with Charlotte title in the same design as the dust jacket. Collation: Pictorial blue end-papers with illustration of a spiderweb, Half-Title; Title Page; Copyright Page (FIRST EDITION (I-B); Half-Title, Main Text beginning with Chapter 1 "Before Breakfast" 1-184. THE END on Page 184, blue end-papers with spiderweb. Condition: Fine- in Fine- Dust Jacket. A superior copy. NO tears, NO chips to the jacket. Slightest hint of natural aging. Book itself is quite clean, boards exceptionally nice, sharp corners, tiniest with a tiny hint of a couple of faint rubs to the front board, almost imperceptible, Text-block very firm to the boards. Slight age-toning to the edge of the text-block but minimal.
