Publisher s original matt black card covers with titles in gloss black, with the publisher s (sealed) light blue wraparound band. All edges blue. A very good, seemingly unread copy, the binding square and firm with some rubbing to the edges and light marking to the closed text block edge. As the wraparound band remains sealed, we have not inspected the book internally. Issued in an edition of just 150 copies, each example individually numbered (although as this example is sealed, as issued, we are unable to ascertain which number this is). The first edition was published simultaneously in the UK and America, 24 September 2013. A sequel to The Shining , and winner of 2013 Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel. A film adaptation (with significant changes), directed by Michael Flanagan and starring Ewan McGregor in the role of Danny Torrance, was released in November 2019.
