['For your kind words. With best wishes'] Margit von Mises, Reith in Alpbachtal. 2 Sept 83".Margit has additionally inscribed on the bibliography at the end, "Diese Bibliographie ist veraltet. Es ist keines der vielen Bücher verzeichnet, die ich seit seinem Tode herausgegeben habe oder die in neuen Auflagen erschienen sind. M v. M" ("This bibliography is out of date. None of the many books that I have published since his death or which have appeared in new editions is listed").The recipient was Hannes Androsch (1938-2024), Austrian finance minister from 1970 to 1981. From 1981 to 1988, he was the general director of the Creditanstalt-Bankverein, then Austria's largest bank.Margit's memoir of her husband was first published as My Years With Ludwig von Mises, here updated and with a new introduction by the author.
