TWO professionally framed and matted original hand-colored octavo size lithographs from the first American edition of The Birds of America by James Audubon. Each has a Brass Plaque on the front and a COA on the rear, and we have also checked to make sure they are authentic and original First Editions. The prints are in 12" x 15" frames and are as follows Audubon Birds of America 1st Edition 1840 Bowen Printing Western Blue Bird No 27 Plate 135 Audubon Birds of America 1st Edition 1840 Bowen Printing Barn or Chimney Swallow No 10 Plate 48 Provenance: For both we were told by the selling dealer (no written documentation to support this- just passing it on): "This came from the collection of Bill "Boom Boom" Brown, a local Minnesota Vikings football player. He owned a printing business that printed for Les Kouba and many other wildlife artists.
