A Suggestive Inquiry into the Hermetic Mystery, Facsimile of the new edition. This exploration of alchemy and Hermeticism was first published in 1850. Fewer than 100 copies were distributed before printing was halted, and the remaining copies were destroyed by the author and her father, Thomas South, who regretted exposing such secrets to the public. It was reissued in 1918 with an introduction by Walter Leslie Wilmshurst.
