Very Good with lean to binding and moderate wear to extremities including 3/4 inch split to upper end of rear joint; binding starting at pp. 25 and 157. Portland State University professor Tony Wolk and his wife Lindy decided to invite Ursula K. Le Guin over for dinner after reading this novel. They became fast friends, and Wolk co-taught writing and literature classes with Le Guin several times over the next three decades. A charming copy of the novel that made its author famous, read and marked with a scholarly eye by a friend who taught it.
