Good vintage condition. HAND SIGNED by author Hooper Shelton in blue ink on the preliminary title page. The black hardcover boards are in good condition with bright, unrubbed gold gilt lettering on the front cover. The original dust jacket is included but shows significant wear, including edge tears, chipping, creasing, and visible foxing/staining. It has done its job protecting the book underneath. Pages are clean and readable. There is a previous owner's name and address stamped in ink on the front endpaper and the signed title page.
