IAN FLEMING - OCTOPUSSY (and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS - also includes "THE PROPERTY OF A LADY" - which was not included in the Jonathan Cape hardcover edition), published by Canadian publisher Pan X668, copyright 1966, First Printing ("First Published in this form 1967 by Pan Books Ltd." with no references to subsequent printings on the copyright page and no references to 1968 - only the 1st printing was published in 1967, the 2nd and later printings weren't published until 1968). DUE TO UNSOLD STOCK OF THE HARDCOVER EDITION AT THE TIME, THE 1ST PAN PB EDITION WAS PRINTED IN VERY VERY SMALL QUANTITIES, AND THUS THE BOOK IS QUITE DIFFICULT TO FIND (ITS MUCH RARER THAN THE PAN 1ST OF BOTH CASINO ROYALE AND MOONRAKER). Book has vertical spine crease, no spine lean, barest hint of wear to spine tips, almost no wear to left/right on spine, ever so tiny crease to top right corner on cover, no edge wear, tight flat white pages with no creased page corners, pages starting to age yellow at page edges, no foxing to pages or endpapers or outer page edges, slight age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges, no former owner's markings inside (used book store stamp to inside front cover), almost no dust soiling/age yellowing to back rear cover which is still white & no color transfer, no spine sun fading.
