Published as part of the distinctive ARS MUNDI / World Masters collection, the book combines a biographical and critical study of Renoir with an extensive collection of reproductions representing different periods of the Impressionist master’s career. CONDITION — PLEASE READ This copy is being sold in POOR/FAIR VINTAGE CONDITION and is priced accordingly. The book shows substantial age and storage wear, including: * Heavy deterioration and separation along the spine * Significant losses, tears and chipping to the original outer paper covering/dust jacket * Exposed binding along portions of the spine * Age toning/yellowing * Foxing and spotting * Water staining/discoloration, particularly around some page edges * Edge and corner wear * Creasing and other age-related wear * Original ARS MUNDI / World Masters paper material is present but heavily worn and fragile Despite the exterior deterioration, the interior retains the wonderful period reproductions that make these Ars Mundi volumes appealing.
