Africa.- Caravan Road Trip, c.260 vintage silver gelatin photographic prints, mounted on thin card leaves (2 loose), most captioned but hand, original cloth and boards, braid binding, slight rubbing to corners and extremities, c.1937-39; and 2 manuscript diaries, one on Victoria Falls and one titled "A Venture into the Sun", v.s. *** A collection of photographs depicting a caravanning trip across Southern Africa during the late 1930s covering the Transvaal, Drakensberg, Cape Town, Natal, Kruger National Park, Victoria Fall, Nyasaland, Pretoria, Zimbabwe and Portuguese East Africa. Overall an interesting snapshot of Africa immediately pre World War Two.
