Salonika 1916, c.440 vintage photographic prints, pasted to paper or linen-backed leaves, most captioned by hand, one or two detached and loosely inserted, one folding map, occasional light spotting (not affecting images), contemporary cloth, colour postcard to upper cover, title in manuscript, rubbed and worn, c.1916-18; and another album of photographic snaps in and around Aden during the same time period, oblong 8vo & 8vo (2) *** The first mentioned is an interesting album put together by a member of the British army and depicting their time in the Levant during the First World War.
