Nice copy of one of Le Guin's most ambitious works, an anthropology of far future inhabitants of Northern California. Illustrated by Margaret Chodos, with cassette tape of original music composed by Todd Barton. Le Guin's inscription here is to American photographer Miriam Berkley, noted for her work as an author photographer (and who photographed Le Guin on numerous occasions).
