Quarto, [51] pp. The twelve labors as a conversation between Herakles (Hercules) and Eurystheus, in the language of anger-management therapy. Designed, printed, and bound by Van Velzer and Gotthold, both formerly of Arion Press. Letterpress in Tiepolo Book on Curtis Holcomb and Hahnemuhle Bugra. The labors open as fold-out accordion-style leaves, each ending in a red-figure vase; several display at once when extended. Beige linen boards, cream label, title in brick red over a lion. Orange endpapers. Brown flecked paper jacket, red spine title, horse drawing to front panel, rust-colored leather tabs with twine closures. Fine. Jacket near fine, with a soft crease at the head of the front panel and light waviness to the lower edge. Closures intact. In mylar. This title was included in the Cantor Arts Center’s California fine press exhibition at Stanford.
