Louis L’Amour 31-Book Leatherette Hardcover Western Collection A wonderful opportunity to add 31 matching Louis L’Amour hardcover Westerns to your shelves all at once. These handsome volumes feature the classic brown leatherette-style bindings with gold lettering and came together as a single collection from a small library in far western Kansas. Although we are conservatively listing the set in Good condition because of the former-library identification, the books themselves present much more nicely than that grade might suggest. Most appear Very Good to Like New, with tight bindings, crisp clean pages, bright page edges, and no foxing noted. Each volume has a small library label at the bottom of the spine and a card pocket on the front flyleaf. One especially interesting detail: all 31 original circulation cards are completely blank. There are no checkout dates, borrower names, or other circulation entries on any of them. We cannot say the books were never read, but there is no recorded circulation in the collection. These are attractive, substantial hardcovers that look terrific together on a shelf and would make a ready-made Louis L’Amour library for a longtime fan, Western reader, collector, or someone just beginning to explore his work.
