I bought this book from a book Emporium to add to my collection of art books. I’m now downsizing and my collection is being sold. Book is in good condition a bit of wear on the back and front, please check all photos before bidding). Unfortunately, the original owner wrote his name in the front. This is a first edition copy of Fair Americans by illustrator Harrison Fisher, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1911.The hardcover book features a distinctive purple binding with a pictorial paste-down portrait of a woman on the front cover.
