hardcover, no dust jacket. It's showing age in some places (please see photos) but is a very difficult book to find. The White Ring is a Cornish fairy tale by British author and folklorist Enys Tregarthen (the pen name of Nellie Sloggett). Published posthumously in March 1949 and edited by Elizabeth Yates, the story follows an orphan baby girl found among sea holly and raised by an old fisherman.
