Martha Stewart Living Preview Issue Winter 1990 Rare Out Of Print

I walked into Walmart in fall of 1990 and saw this magazine on the rack. I liked the look of the woman on the front cover and she looked right up my alley! So I spent my $3.00 and bought it! It was really fun and inspiring to read all her recipes and craft ideas. The stencil card I used to decorate for Christmas, and the subscription card I sent in to get further issues. The one insert is still there that says why she started this magazine. I became a faithful subscriber for almost the entire run of the magazine, and even got to meet her briefly at a book signing in Northern California. She’s tall, and was a nice person. I learned a lot from Martha, and appreciate all she did for women who liked to craft and cook and garden. It’s a little painful to let go of this issue, because it brings back many memories from then, and pulls on my heart strings, but I’m getting older and I would love for someone else to enjoy it as much as I did.
