Refugees. Preliminary Report of a Survey. First edition of this report on contemporary issues relating to refugees and their movements, covering Europe, Asia, and the United States. There is particular attention paid to the movements of Jewish communities coinciding with the rise of fascism in Europe at the time. The work is illustrated with maps of the Balkans, the Near East, and China. Simpson later wrote The Refugee Question (1939) and contributed to the Report to the General Assembly for the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine in 1947.
