This is a vintage hardback early edition of the novel "Swords of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, published in 1936 by GROSSET & DUNLAP. This book falls under the genre of science fiction and The Mars series by Burroughs is considered a classic in the field. Please NOTE the dust jacket is still present! However, a previous owner had trimmed and shaped the front and back panels and stuck them respectively on the front free endpaper and front fixed endpaper….. a shame, but the art work is marvellous!
