The Silver Anniversary Edition has silver covers, red printing on the covers and red marbled page ends. All books are stated first printings of the Silver Edition and 17th printings overall. Previously owned and in acceptable condition. Boards have bumped board corners and rubbing on the corners, spine edges, and spine ends. Fellowship of the Ring has a 0.5 inch split on the spine tail. Return of the King has some of the front design rubbed off. Spines and hinges are intact. Pages are clean. No writing inside. Maps are intact in the back. The last blank white endpage in Return of the King has a ragged edge from a LOTR silverfish fan. No funky odors. Acceptable readable condition.
