Code K-Q to the copyright page indicates the first printing. A bright, clean copy, very good, in the publisher's black cloth with applied illustration to front board. Some dust-soiling to the cloth, with dulling to the spine title, band some abrasions to the corners and spine ends, but a fresh, clean copy internally, with no foxing. Small nice bookplate to the front paste-down. Lacking the rare dust jacket. Uncommon posthomously published novel with great work by one of the masters of illustration. BAL 3520.
