The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit. First edition in book form. This title was originally published in a panorama format in 1906. However, "the shops sensibly refused to stock them because they got unrolled and so bad to fold up again" (Linder, p. 183), and the title was brought into line with the rest of the series in 1916.The jacket includes The Tale of Pigling Bland and The Tale of Mr Tod as new books in "Series II" on the rear panel. The front flap includes an announcement of "charming new editions of Miss Potter's little Folding Pocket Book Series, now first published and daintily re-arranged in Book Form".
