Autograph letter in French written by the composer's widow (some time after the death of the composer in 1926) to a friend of the family where she states: "Dear Sir, I deeply regretted this morning having had to leave without shaking your hand. It was a sweet emotion for me to hear these melodies performed in such a charming way, these melodies that, four days before his death, my dear husband accompanied for one of my nieces!Thank you, dear Sir, for your thought, and please accept all my deepest and most moved sentiments.
