Grapefruit. First Sphere edition, signed by Yoko and Lennon on the front free endpaper. Ono's book blurred the lines between literature and conceptual art. Lennon later acknowledged that his song "Imagine" was drawn from Ono's poems in the book, and in recognition of this Ono was credited as the song's co-writer by the National Music Publishers Association in June 2017.Grapefruit was originally published in Japan in 1964 and in the UK in 1970.
