Warhol's collection of 360 pictures of his celebrity friends presents a unique and intimate view of high society and his inner circle. According to Colacello, the editor and Factory right-hand man, the two deluxe editions of Warhol's Exposures were issued as "gold" and "silver" editions. The "gold" was limited to 1000 numbered copies, although of these less than 200 are rumoured to have been printed, and the silver to 50.
